One.

I'm not exactly sure what this blog purports to be, which may beg the question why I created it in the first place. Indeed, I am no longer travelling, and therefore have no exotically hilarious anecdotes with which to regale you. Out with the jollity and joie de vivre that permeated my travel blogging, and in with a jaded general ill-humour. One thing I have kept, though: I have decided to continue with the theme (which some of you will recognise from The Thing About South America) of photo-illustrated blogging. This is primarily to keep entertained those of you with shorter attention spans; I include myself somewhat in this. This particular photo was taken not by myself, but by my far more artistically-inclined sister, on a twilight walk in Brecon, South Wales.

So that's it: I have brought this humble blog into existence to keep you from straying into boredom, and me meandering into madness.
